Resources

This section of the COBA Web site contains resources for both the Beekeeper and the non-Beekeeper -- to use to learn more about bees and opportunities regarding bees. Please help yourself to the use of these resources and contact us if you would like any more information.

For the Non-Beekeeper

Need a Speaker about Bees and/or Beekeeping?

Within COBA, we have several members who are willing to share their expertise about bees and/or beekeeping. We are able to present on a variety of topics such as pollination, fruits/vegetables, honey, wax production, health concerns, basic beekeeping, to name just a few. If you are interested in having COBA provide a speaker for your next meeting, please fill out our Request for Speaker form then use the SAVE AS option to save the document to your computer and then email it as an attachment to centralohiobeekeepersassoc@gmail.com.

Beekeepers are very busy April to October. Request for speakers should be received 4-6 weeks before your event. We also request that presentations be limited to one day. If more than one presentation is needed, in the same day, there should not be a long time laps between each presentation.

Looking for a Local Source of Honey?!?

Many of the Central Ohio Beekeeper Association Members not only raise bees for their own use, but sell honey and honey-comb locally. If you are looking for local honey, then be sure to check out these sources.
