COBA Monthly Meeting

Topic: Processing wax and honey for competition and requirements for competition.
Most of you know Carmen, as she has been a member of COBA for over 30 years, but you
may not know that she is a Master Certified Honey Judge. She has judged the largest honey show
in Ohio ( The Lorain County Fair) and the national American Beekeeping Federations’ honey show.
A regular winner of blue ribbons on the national level, she walked away with 7 blue ribbons and
“Best of Show” at the 2019 American Honey Show. Her program is designed to help others ‘win
blue ribbons at honey shows’.
